James P. Wynn

James P. Wynn was born and raised on Ocracoke Island, North Carolina before moving to Greenville at the age of 10. After graduating from J.H. Rose High School James spent time living, working, and studying in several North Carolina cities including Raleigh, Chapel Hill, Burlington, Durham, and Asheville before ultimately relocating his family back to Greenville in 2018. Upon returning to Greenville James worked for three years as an Associate Attorney at Horne & Horne, PLLC, where he focused his legal practice on real estate, estate planning, and small business law, performing thousands of closings, drafting hundreds of wills, and helping dozens of small business owners start their business.

James is a member of the North Carolina Bar Association and the Pitt County Bar Association. He graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill with a Bachelors of Arts in Economics and later obtained a Masters in Business Administration (M.B.A.) from Western Carolina University – Programs in Asheville. James earned his law degree from the North Carolina Central University School of Law Evening Program while working full-time.

James is married to his high school sweetheart and together they have two young daughters. He enjoys spending time in Ocracoke with friends and family, surfing, and playing music.
